Turning Progress into Motivation: Meet the TritonWear Leaderboard

Discover how the TritonWear Leaderboard and Weekly Reports help coaches track technical progress, motivate swimmers, and celebrate growth weekly.

You know that feeling when your swimmers nail a set they’ve been grinding for? That’s what the new TritonWear Leaderboard is all about: capturing those quiet wins that build real momentum.

We built it because progress should never go unnoticed. Every week, the Leaderboard turns your team’s data into something visible, motivational, and worth celebrating. Think of it as your new Monday ritual, a reason to stop, look back, and say, “Yeah, the work is paying off.”

So What Exactly Is the Leaderboard?

Each week, your Weekly Report updates with fresh rankings that highlight swimmers who are moving the needle, not just the fastest in the pool.

The TritonWear Leaderboard is built entirely around technical improvement. It measures how each swimmer’s skills have improved this week compared to their typical performance. When swimmers outperform their usual benchmarks, they climb the ranks.

Here’s what you’ll see:

  • Top Skills Performer: The swimmer who made the biggest overall jump in technical skill this week.

  • Overwater Specialist, Underwater Powerhouse, and Transitions Master: The swimmers who nailed a specific phase — strokes, underwaters, or turns — showing where their training focus is paying off.

  • Progress Power Rankings: A full breakdown of every swimmer’s progress — from most improved to least — along with their top-performing skill, stroke, pool type, and number of workouts.

This isn’t about chasing perfection; it’s about rewarding progress. The Leaderboard helps you see how well your swimmers are translating practice into performance, where consistency is paying off, and where adjustments might make the next big leap.

It turns invisible gains into visible motivation, giving you and your swimmers a reason to celebrate the grind behind the gains every single week.

How Coaches Are Using It

We didn’t design the Leaderboard to sit quietly in a dashboard; we built it to make data part of the conversation.  Coaches are using it on deck to start conversations, build reflection into their routine, and keep progress front and center all season long.

Start the week with it

At the start of each week, pull up the Leaderboard before warm-up or during activation.
It takes five minutes, but it changes how your swimmers think about training.

Use it to:

  • Highlight your Top Performer. Celebrate the swimmer who made the biggest leap this week.

  • Recognize your Specialists. Give a shout-out to the Overwater, Underwater, and Transitions standouts who crushed their focus areas.

  • Discuss what’s driving improvement. Ask what worked,  maybe a new drill clicked, or they held their stroke under pressure for the first time.

It’s a reflection wrapped in celebration, a quick ritual that keeps swimmers engaged with their progress, not just their times.

Spot trends worth talking about

Progress power rankings

The Progress Power Rankings make it easy to see who’s on a roll, who’s holding steady, and who might be slipping. If someone’s climbing, dig into what’s working, maybe a technical cue, drill focus, or technique adjustment is paying off. If someone’s dropping, start a quick 1:1 chat to find out why before confidence dips or fatigue sets in. Over time, these weekly touchpoints add up to sharper coaching and more self-aware athletes.

Share the story beyond the pool

Parents and boards love seeing measurable growth, not just times. Leaderboards turn data into a story you can share easily: progress that’s visible, trackable, and directly tied to the work happening in your lanes. It’s the kind of transparency that builds confidence in your coaching and shows that your program develops swimmers, not just performances. When you use the Leaderboard consistently, it becomes more than a ranking; it becomes a shared language of progress across your whole program.

How Weekly Reports Bring It All Together

The Leaderboard shows who’s improving. The rest of your Weekly Reports show why.  Each tab works together to provide you with coaching clarity, allowing you to see how your training plan, technical work, and recovery strategy are actually playing out in the water.

Recovery keeps progress sustainable

See attendance and training load in one place. Instantly know who’s training safely, who’s pushing too hard, and who might need a recovery focus before fatigue turns into burnout.

Effort connects the plan to performance

Skills make technique measurableSwimmers skills changes

Drill into each skill to see how every swimmer performed compared to their usual performance stroke by stroke and phase by phase. It’s the easiest way to track whether your technical focus is translating to improvement.

Each athlete's week at a glanceAthlete report cards

The weekly report for each swimmer has moved from the side drawer to its own tab across the top, making it easier to find and use. Each athlete’s report card now includes an All Skills view, a single page that shows how all 20+ technical skills changed for that swimmer this week.
It’s the clearest way yet to tailor feedback, spot progress trends, and celebrate the individual effort driving your team forward.

The result?  Less time clicking, more time coaching. Fewer assumptions, more insight. And a full picture of how your team is progressing every single week.

Every Week, a New Reason to Celebrate

Progress doesn’t always make noise, it’s built one stroke, one turn, one adjustment at a time.
The TritonWear Leaderboard and Weekly Reports make sure that work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Use them to guide reflection, celebrate improvement, and communicate growth across your program, from swimmers to parents to your board. Because when progress is visible, it becomes contagious.

Each week, when your new report drops, take a moment to look back before you move forward.
You’ll see just how far your team has come and how much further they can go.
